AFFORDABLE SEO SERVICES IN LONDON

I am a multi award-winning SEO consultant in London who has been providing affordable SEO Services in London to a variety of businesses including SMEs and large iconic brands. I hold an MBA, MA in Marketing & Innovation and MSc in Data Science, a Diploma in VR, and the author of four books.

Looking for a professional Digital Marketing Consultant in London? Let’s start….

I love working as both in-house & freelance digital marketing specialist in London, and I have been providing affordable digital marketing services in London to many exciting businesses, both SMEs and iconic brands. My process for every digital marketing project is very strict and detailed…it really is the only way I can fully understand your business, draw up a bespoke digital marketing plan for you and your business, and deliver both your long time and short term objectives.

Meet. Discuss. Agree KPIs.

By this time you would already have decided to employ me as your SEO specialist in London. I would have already conducted an in-depth SEO audit of your website (Technical, On-page and Off- page). We would have already discussed and agreed a bespoke SEO strategy, social media plan or paid search proposal. If you are a London based business, I make it a habit to visit your business and meet your teams in person. It is important that everyone understands your business SEO strategy, how they can contribute to its success and get to know me in person. I will most likely run a top line SEO training session and conduct a brainstorming session on identifying resources and processes available to support your business  SEO strategy and its social media plan. This step is of course optional, however if you employed my SEO services in London, where I am based, I strongly recommend the use of this opportunity to sell and educate your team on the SEO services you are paying for ! …and best of all, I will not charge you a penny for it!

Visit your business. Brainstorm ideas. Train your team.

You will meet your digital marketing specialist in London (…that is me) or via Skype. At this point we will asses your SEO, Paid Search and Social Media Advertising needs and I will be available to answer any questions you may have. It will be an opportunity for me to understand your business and its long / short term goals. I will form an initial idea of how my affordable digital marketing services in London (SEO, Paid Search, Social Media Services, Native Advertising) can be integrated and support your overall business strategy.

Get to work…

It is now time to get to work deliver the SEO services you have paid for. At this stage I would prioritise the SEO actions with the highest impact on your search engine rankings, and then work my way through the lower SEO issues affecting your rankings. I would set up and launch your social media or paid search campaigns. I would identify current issues within your industry and work with you on your content strategy. I would use innovative SEO tools and processes to benchmark your top digital competitors in each market, understand their business, their SEO, social media or paid search strategies. I would identify digital opportunities to support you and your business from a commercial point of view. I would provide you with data insights on websites linking to your competitors’ websites. This SEO service would allow you to gain insights into your competitor’s digital strategy…What is their social media strategy? What publications are they featured in? What directories and organisations are they registered with? What suppliers do they work with? What clients do they have?

In a previous role a similar SEO analysis allowed me to identify a client that used my competitor’s services. I contacted the client and offered a trial of our services. In the end the client moved her services to our business and became the best revenue producing account for the year….and it all started with an SEO analysis. Needless to say that that year we were shortlisted for the Business of the year and Innovation Awards!

Track results. Analyse data. Refine strategy.

At this stage we will review the success of the SEO strategy, social media plan or paid search campaign against the objectives and KPIs we agreed initially. As your London SEO specialist and social media consultant transparency and integrity is key. We will learn from our successes and build on it. We will discuss areas which present opportunity to improve, refine our SEO strategy, social media plan or paid search campaign. We will agree new objectives and KPIs. The results of our SEO campaign, social media marketing plan or paid search ROI will by no means come as a surprise to you. By this time we would have conducted fortnightly Skype calls and discussed on an ongoing basis your SEO campaigns. In fact we would already have completed most changes to your SEO campaign on the fly based on the insights and results observed.

An SEO technical audit should be included as a default in any SEO packages offered by any professional SEO agency in London, SEO specialist, SEO expert or SEO consultant in London. This SEO service focuses on what is “under the hood” of your websites and it always represents the very first step your SEO specialist or  SEO consultant in London will work on when undertaking the optimisation of your website. In simple terms, all your efforts and fees paid for  SEO services in London are in vain if your website cannot be seen or found by search engines like Google and Bing…in the end neither Google nor Bing can rank your website for content they cannot see or find…

There are many errors that can appear on your website from a technical SEO point of view but the main issues occur around response codes (200, 4XX and 5XX), indexation, canonical issues, hreflangs, errors found in the Google search console and Bing webmaster tools, XML sitemaps, 301 and 302 redirects, redirect chains, meta descriptions, page titles, title tags, demographics and many many more. As a professional SEO specialist, SEO expert and SEO consultant in London I can provide you with affordable SEO services in London and throughout UK that will “power up” your website for SEO. Hence if you are looking for affordable SEO services in London, I am an experienced SEO specialist, SEO expert and SEO consultant in London that will place your website in the best position possible to get you more leads, more enquiries and more business.

You can think about response codes as diagnostics. Whenever your SEO specialist, SEO expert or SEO consultant in London runs your website through a technical SEO tool, the tool will send its crawlers on every page of your website, which in turn will follow every URL found on your website. If the URL is found to load well than the crawlers will send a response code 200 which means that no action is required. However, if the crawlers follow the URL and find no page associated with it then a 404 or 500 message is returned most often. A 404 error means that no page was found at the URL address crawled on the website. This generally occurs for various reasons but overall indicates that a page was deleted or moved to another URL. For example, you may have a web shop and add and remove products on a regular basis. What you do not realise is that when you remove the product from your website search engines will continue to crawl the URL, get to a dead end and return a 404 error. Another example would be that you employ an SEO agency in London, an SEO specialist, SEO expert or an SEO consultant in London, they optimise the URL but forget to redirect the old URL to the new URL, which means that when Google crawls the old URL it will again reach a dead end. The solution is simple, every time your SEO specialist, SEO expert or SEO consultant in London removes a page, a product, a team member, a case study and so on he/she will need to redirect the URL associated with that product to the most relevant page, product etc. on your website. This way, when search engines crawl your old URL they will be directed to the new page via the redirect command.

A 5XX, most often a 500 error is generally related to a server issue on your web hosting service. It occurs for various reasons but generally consists of a temporary “crash” of your website which would restrict access to parts of your site or to the whole site altogether. 500 errors are generally temporary, you would most often have to wait for a while and retry again – most web hosting teams are very good at identifying and working out fixes for these kind of issues. If the 500 error is not going away then it is time for you to contact your web hosting technical team. Your SEO specialist, SEO expert or SEO consultant should be able in most cases to quickly diagnose the problem and follow the right course of action. As an experienced SEO specialist, SEO expert and SEO consultant in London I offer a large variety of 1 to 1 bespoke SEO training where you can learn hands on how to tackle these particular issues. And, do not worry…I guarantee some of the most affordable SEO services in London!

When your SEO specialist, SEO expert or SEO consultant in London creates a new page, product, case study etc. he/she will need to give it a name, hence the name of page title. A typical old school SEO specialist, SEO expert or SEO consultant in London will insist to include as many keywords as possible, at the beginning of the title if possible. While this had lots of value couple of years ago it presents little value nowadays. As a matter of fact, Google in particular has improved their algorithms at such a high pace that they are now able to assess the value of the title vs. content and many other factors. On brief if your SEO specialist, SEO expert or SEO consultant will over-optimise your title you will risk to loose rankings. I have been a professional SEO specialist, SEO expert and SEO consultant in London for a while now and ran hundreds of tests on what is the best approach to optimise the title and the results are always the same…use keyword or variations at the beginning of the title if possible but always ask yourself: is my title relevant to the content on page, am I offering the visitor what I “sell” within the page title? A page with a title that is not reflective to the page content will result in visitors bouncing back from your page, which will send Google a message that your page is not relevant to the title you are “selling” – you will lose rankings. My best advice is…picking up the right SEO specialist, SEO expert or SEO consultant in London is key to ensuring that your affordable SEO services in London are also highly effective!…that is: more leads, more enquiries and more business.

Meta description is a small paragraph of 155-165 characters that is being used by Google to present your page within the search results. In simple terms, when you search let’s say “Romanian translator” Google will deliver the results it thinks will best match your needs and intent. Hence, on the first page in Google you will be able to see several websites with a title on the first line, URL on the second and the meta description on the 3rd line. A few years ago these meta descriptions used to be optimised with keywords and abused by old school SEO specialists, SEO experts and SEO consultants in London…nowadays Google places no emphasis per se on the content and optimisation of the meta descriptions or title tags. You will however see when that most websites on the first page in Google have their keywords in the title tag, meta description etc. and any SEO Agency, SEO specialist, SEO expert or SEO consultant in London will continue to “explain” to their clients how they optimise meta descriptions and meta titles. This is simply a failure on their part to stay up to date with the most recent research in the area…this  SEO agency in London, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London will overemphasise the same myth over and over again…A savvy SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London however will explain you the real reason why the meta descriptions and title tags are important, namely that they drive action from the visitor. An enticing description will convince visitors to click through to your page and, if the content is relevant to the meta descriptions and the query terms, the visitor will stay on your page. As a result search engines will conclude that your website is relevant to the keyword searched by the visitor and will reward your website with higher rankings. Hence, forget the myth and focus on optimising your meta titles and meta descriptions for click through rates rather than stuffing your keywords…it really makes no sense! Again, my advice is…the mindset  and the learning culture of your SEO agency, SEO specialist, SEO expert or SEO consultant in London is essential in delivering sustainable results and grow your business. Pick well…a professional SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London will offer both quality and affordable SEO services in London (as they do not incur the costs an SEO agency in London do).

Long time ago, in ancient SEO times search engines encouraged the SEO specialist, agency or SEO consultant to include within a dedicated area of the website header keywords that described their business, category, services etc. As search engine algorithms were not as evolved as nowadays, search engines used these meta keywords to gain an understanding of what the websites were about and rank them accordingly. Needless to say that SEO ‘specialists”  and SEO consultant in London started to abuse this feature adding terms that were irrelevant to the website content and user intent, hence the results returned to searchers were low quality as well. Search engines have made it very clear on numerous occasions, and this is confirmed by numerous tests by professional SEO consultants and SEO specialists that meta keywords have no value for SEO. Hence, when an SEO agency in London, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London brags about optimising your meta keywords ask them politely to focus on delivering professional and affordable SEO services in London, and stop talking the talk…in fact, it would be a strong signal that the respective SEO agency in London, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London either has no understanding of modern SEO or they put little value on integrity and transparency. And remember…just because an SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London offers affordable SEO services in London it does not mean that they do not provide quality! Their SEO package simply “removes” the costs incurred by a normal SEO agency in London and leaves you with…you guessed it!…affordable SEO services in London! Same quality if not better for better prices.

I will try to explain this as simple as I can…A canonical is a way of telling Google what page to consider as the main page from two or more pages with the same content. So let’s assume you have two pages with the same content…Google may crawl all these pages but will not “know” what is the main page that should get the “authority” and ranking rewards. Your SEO specialist or your London SEO consultant  can fix this by implementing a canonical tag on one of the pages pointing out to the page you would like Google to consider as the “authority” page. You may ask…wait but why would I have two pages with the same content, or even argue that you do not have two pages with the same content. This is where things get complicated and it is why you need the help of professional SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London…Canonical issues appear for various reasons, too many to describe here. I will however focus on the need to establish canonical versions of your site via 301 redirects and within the Google search console. What you need to understand is that while you may only see one website Google does in fact perceives your website as several different properties. Specifically, Google “thinks” about your www., non-www, https and non-https version of your site is being “perceived” as four different properties with the same content…this creates a duplicate content issue which can be resolved by “telling” Google in the search console that you prefer it considers your main website the www or the non-www version…this is also called setting up a canonical version in the search console. Finally, you will need to ensure that all subdomains of your site are re-directed via a 301 redirect to your preferred canonical version of your site. A professional SEO Specialist or SEO consultant in London will be able to do all this for you quite easily. Getting the canonical issues wrong can have a negative impact on your website but not in the way that your typical SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London will  “explain” it. Wait..but what would a typical SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London will tell me? Well…he or she will tell you that Google will penalise your website due to high amount of duplicate content (you have no idea how many times I heard this explanation from colleagues working as SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London!). In reality, this explanation is born out of ignorance…Google will not penalise your website! What will happen is: Google will not know which is the main canonical version of the site that needs assigning “authority” to, hence it will share “market share” between your different versions of the site…this of course will affect your rankings on all of the sites ! Moreover, a savvy SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London will also point out to potential losses of “link juice” with some links pointing to your https version, others to the http version and others to the non www as an example..Hence, when you hear an SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London “explaining” that Google will penalise your website due to duplicate content you should ask them to focus on providing affordable SEO services in London, and …more leads, more enquiries, more business!

An SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London will use the index command to “tell” search engines that they are happy with them indexing your page, content and basically allowing users to find and access this content. By contrast, your SEO specialist or SEO consultant on London will use the  no index command to inform search engines that they should not make that page available and visible on the internet. An example would be a new website you are building, you work on your content and do not want to make it available in its current shape and form…your SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London would apply a no index command initially, and latter remove it, allowing this way Google to index your website in the final form. Other examples may be pages with information that you may not want your clients to see. Throughout my career as SEO specialist and  SEO consultant in London I have also identified many errors where the client has accidentally no indexed content on their website or even the whole website!…obviously this meant that they lost traffic and visibility, and these are the kind of issues that a good SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London will quickly identify and rectify. Hence if you are looking for professional and yet affordable SEO services in London do Get in Touch!

NoODP are in effect meta robots informing search engines how to describe your business in directories such as Yahoo or Dmoz. Your SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London will use it to control how your meta description will look within these directories rather than allowing Google to decide upon which meta description to use for your listings. Think about it as a meta description for a page….if you do not specify a meta description Google will pick up then first 155-165 characters on the page which is bad practice and affects negatively your CTR and indirectly your SEO efforts. Your SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London will generally set this up for you quite easily… And of course…Get in Touch if you are looking for professional and affordable SEO services in London!

Think about hreflang as an interface between two languages. When your website is translated in two or more versions the hreflang “interface” will ensure that the right version and equivalent translation is delivered to the user. Hrefllangs errors could for example mean that when you choose the German version of your site you may receive the English version, or some content would be delivered in English some in German on the same page. Generally an SEO consultant would uncover the issues and a developer will fix it, as it is quite likely that advanced coding will be involved and beyond the skills acquired by any good SEO specialist.

You can think about the Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster tools as your own account for your website, it is where your SEO specialist or your SEO consultant in London are being “informed” by Google or Bing about the errors they have found on your site, and recommendations to help your SEO specialist and SEO consultant in London to improve your website visibility and its technical health . The search consoles provide messages on critical issues or errors found on your site, 404 and 500 errors, wether you have submitted your XML sitemaps, errors within the sitemap, search analytics information, canonical versions and settings, structured data, rich cards, structure data highlighter tool and so much more. If you are a business owner, a marketer, an SEO specialist or an SEO consultant in London the Google search console is the “go to” first step in assessing the technical health of your website. You professional SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London must regularly monitor your Google Search console or Bing Webmaster tools! And lastly…get in Touch if you are looking for an SEO expert who provides professional and affordable SEO services in London!

To understand redirect chains you need to have an understanding of what “link juice” is. In a very simple form, link juice represents the authority that Google associates with a particular page, website, blog etc. The higher the authority the better you are perceived by Google and Bing. There is an entire book that I could write about the factors that contribute to gaining that authority but in essence it is what any consultant offering SEO services in London and throughout UK is trying to achieve. So, lets assume that for whatever reason (i.e. the product is not available, the news release is out of date etc) you would like to remove that page. We have learned by now that this old page will need to be redirected to the most relevant active, otherwise Google will return a 404 not found error. When this happens the “link juice”/authority of that page is not being passed anywhere. Hence the old product page needs redirecting and the new link will receive around 90% of the authority of the  old product page. However if the initial product page is being redirected to another product page, who in turn will become redundant and further re-directed to another page then you will have a redirect chain. Think about it…old URL passes 90% authority to new URL, new URL redirected to another URL passes 90% out of the 90% received from the old URL …the more redirect steps you add the more link juice you are loosing. When your SEO consultant identifies a redirect chain the solution is to go back to basics and redirect the initial old product page to the last page in the chain directly, with no intermediaries, hence passing 90% authority to the final page.

The XML site map is …a map. In brief, the XML map is being submitted to the search consoles, available on site and referenced in the rbt.txt file  allowing search engines to better understand and index your website. Once you have submitted your XML sitemap to the Google and Bing search consoles both engines will be “updated” regularly on any new changes or content on your site, allowing better and quicker indexation. My affordable SEO services in London offer this service as a default so …Get in Touch!

We discussed previously about 404 response codes which means in effect that search engines do not find anything at the URL location they have crawled. We also discussed about the need to redirect any pages that do not exist anymore to the most relevant pages on your website. This redirection can be made either via a 301 redirect or a 302 redirect. A 301 redirect is a permanent redirect telling search engines something along the lines “please pass all the authority of the old page to the new page I am redirecting to”. By contrast a 302 redirect tells search engine something like “I am only temporary re-directing to the new page while I refurbish my existing page, hence I will keep my page authority and will not pass the authority to the new page” . Numerous studies have shown over and over again that if you are looking to redirect old pages, products etc then 301 redirects must be implemented at all times. As an SEO specialist and SEO consultant in London I always investigate 302 redirects to ensure that there is a clear reason behind it, I generally remove the 302 redirects and perform 301 redirects if the intent was to redirect permanently the old page to the new page. Lastly, Get in Touch if you are looking for a professional SEO expert  and affordable SEO services in London!

YES! You do need an SEO consultant. The truth is that technical SEO is hard work, requires technical skills and experience of testing new things all the time. In the same way you let the architect to design a house, and the builder to build the house you should let the SEO specialist to do what he has trained for years. A DYI approach will only delay your decision to employ professional SEO services in London and UK when you will finally acknowledge the massive task ahead. You can employ and SEO agency in London, various SEO services companies or a more affordable SEO service opportunity is employing a London SEO consultant directly…a good freelance SEO specialist will provide you with affordable SEO services as compared with London SEO agencies as they have less costs to pass to the client (that is you, of course).

A keyword is basically a word that you would like to appear on the first page in Google when people are searching for your service or services. Let’s say you offer German translation services and you would like to appear on the first page in Google when people type “German translation services”…this would be your keyword. Of course that just because you choose a keyword and people are searching for it it doesn’t mean that you will also have your website served on the first page in Google. In reality you compete against thousands of other websites who all want the same thing…to appear on the first page in Google when people type “German translation services”. It is why you employ professional SEO services in London from an experienced SEO specialist and SEO consultant in London (…that is me, of course) . When employing my affordable SEO services in London I will ensure that a comprehensive keyword research is carried out to identify the best keywords for your website, with the right search volumes, difficulty to rank and the right intent (which would deliver the highest amount of leads). I am a results driven SEO specialist and SEO consultant in London who will focus obsessively on reaching your goals at some of the most affordable SEO services in London.

Ok, so you decided that you want to employ an SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London to provide professional SEO services in London and rank you for a keyword like “German translation services”. You employ an SEO agency in London, an SEO specialist or an SEO consultant in London, and you tell them that you would like to rank for this keyword. Your London SEO Agency, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London should immediately offer to perform a keyword research to revel the most profitable keywords for your website. For example, your SEO agency in London, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London may carry out the research and find that the term “German translation services” has a very low search volume (only 50 people are looking for it on a monthly basis) and a high ranking difficulty (requires more time and resources to rank your site due to the high amount of other websites trying to rank for the same keyword). Your SEO agency in London, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London may notice however that keywords such as “German Translator”, “German Interpreter”, “German translations to english”  have higher search volumes and lower competition…a good London SEO agency, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London will suggest you should focus your main efforts on the former keyword while also optimising on-page for the low search volume keyword. The key here is that you would focus your limited resources on the high potential keywords while not turning your back to the less promising keyword. OK…did I mention that all these actions will be performed by a professional London SEO agency, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London? The last statement is key…you have no idea how many times I had optimise websites from scratch because the SEO agency, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London simply asked the client what they wanted to rank for! No analysis, no understanding of the keyword potential, competition, search volume, intent and so much more…needles to say that the “professional” SEO agency, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London have ranked the client for the wrong keywords!…no leads, no enquiries, no business. So…Get in Touch to learn more about my affordable SEO services in London!

As an SEO Expert I use a variety of methods to reveal the best possible keywords that will drive the action that you are looking for. I include keyword research within all my affordable SEO services in London. My keyword analysis starts with an analysis of your website’s keyword density and the keywords it is ranking for. This will give me an initial idea about the services you sell via your website. I will continue with a search using Google’s Keyword planner tool and will reveal data insights on your targeted keywords (search volume, competition etc). Google will also offer suggestions and information on keywords that are being searched for online, and may be relevant to the keywords we researched initially. This is an important feature as most often I will get suggestions I did not think of, conclude that keywords you are trying to rank for may not be as profitable and so on. The key to remember is that when trying to rank a page for a keyword you will need to think about its “ecosystem”, synonyms, similar words and so on…you really want to rank for that keywords as well ! Why ? Well, one thing to remember is that Google is becoming “smarter”…it will recognise that “German Translator” is also a “German Interpreter” and also provides “German translation services”. Hence when, someone is typing “German Translation services” or “German Interpreter” in their search box, Google will “think” that by association the person is looking for a “German translator” as well. Another reason is that by trying to rank for your keyword and its associated term you will give search engines a better idea about the theme of your page, and encourage this way search engines to “prefer” your website against other websites for the keyword “German translator”. And finally, keyword stuffing is now a no go for search engines…repeat “German translator” too many times on your page and Google will “think” you are trying to trick it – it will “reward” you with lower rankings.

The next step in my keyword research would use various 3rd party tools to dive deeper into the data captured via the keyword tool. I will conduct a top digital and traditional competitors keyword research to identify keywords you may not have thought of but profitable for your competitors. I will scrap the main search engines for their most searched related terms and expressions, I will conduct semantic analysis and PPC analysis of your competition to understand the keywords they are bidding on. Bottom line, my role as a professional London SEO consultant is to ensure that I align my affordable London SEO services to your overall strategy and goals by ensuring that your website is optimised for the right keywords, driving the right traffic with the right intent. After all, why would you put your efforts and finance into ranking for keywords that have no search volumes or drive the “wrong” customer behaviour ? So if you need ROI focused, professional yet affordable SEO services in London do Get in Touch!

As an SEO specialist and SEO consultant in London I use a variety of tools to conduct keyword research, including semantic analysis, related terms, scraping internet search engines for their most searched content, competitor analysis of keywords, rankings, search volumes, difficulty scores and so on. My preferred SEO tools for keyword research are the Google Keyword planner tool, Soovle, Ubersuggest, KWFinder, SEM Rush, SEO Spyglass, Raven and SEO Ranker by Powersuite. Do Get in Touch if you are looking for affordable SEO services in London from a professional SEO expert!

The keyword difficulty score indicates the amount of competition existing for a particular keyword. The more websites are trying to rank for that keyword the more “difficult” (more time, more resources etc) it will be for your SEO specialist, SEO expert or London SEO Agency to rank your website on the first page in Google. Paired with a search volume analysis (the average number of people searching for that term on a monthly basis) the difficulty score should give you and your SEO services company a good idea of wether it is worth it or not to pursue that keyword. Hence you are looking for professional and affordable SEO services in London do get in touch…I am an experienced SEO professional who guarantees transparency and integrity at all times.

There are many obvious reasons why you may not get leads when you rank on the first page in Google. Some of  these reasons include contact form errors (i.e. people fill in your contact form but the form is “broken” hence you get no leads), conversion optimisation (people get on your website but there are no obvious calls to action driving them through a sales funnel i.e. no contact forms, no contact info such as address, telephone, email address etc, too much text or not enough text and so on), wrong meta descriptions or meta titles (i.e. meta descriptions stuffed by your SEO specialist or SEO consultant with keywords, hence optimised for keywords but not for click through) and many more. However, one of the main issue you must be on the look out for is the potential of the keyword that your SEO Agency in London or your London SEO expert recommended, or has not brought to your attention: the keyword that you naively wanted to rank for had no search volume in the first place, or the “wrong people” people were driven to your site with a different intent than the one you were looking for (i.e. people looking for “on line German translator” are looking for a Google translate service rather than for a “German translator” per se). If this is the case there should be no hide out for your London SEO services company or SEO consultant…they should have told you from the very beginning, suggested alternatives etc. They probably didn’t as it was easier for them to rank your keywords…this is a lack of both transparency and integrity. So if you would like to explore further SEO opportunities for your business and have a chat about my affordable SEO services in London then …Get in Touch!

The truth is that up to a point you should treat the singular and plural forms as two different keywords. As your SEO Specialist / SEO consultant I would check the search volumes of both forms and optimise for both. If I was to choose to optimise one or the other I would probably go for the plural form though, word of caution: Google is “smart” and is very likely to associate the singular with the plural form hence make sure you don’t over-optimise! Also make sure the text flows naturally. To conclude, I always optimise for both forms in a balanced way, avoiding over-optimisation. You definitely need an SEO Consultant or an SEO specialist to help you with your keyword research. Let me put it this way…get the keyword research wrong and all your efforts and resources to optimise your website will be in vain..you may rank for the wrong keywords, for the wrong intent, for the wrong product or you will not rank at all. Take my advice: employ affordable SEO services in London and you will sleep well at night!

On page SEO is the second pillar of the search engine optimisation of any website, after you have carried out a technical SEO audit and fixed the technical SEO issues found. Now that your website is “healthy” and visible to the search engines it is time to tell search engines what your website, page or blog post is about. Your SEO expert and SEO consultant carried out the keyword research, and you agreed the keywords you are going to target. On-page search engine optimisation is in essence the part where you optimise your content for that keywords, basically telling Google something along the lines ” Hey Google, when someone is looking for “German Translator” please return my website on the first page of your results..”. Looking for professional yet affordable SEO services in London?..Get in Touch!

On page search engine optimisation is one of the three main pillars that will “convince” Google that your website deserves to be on the first page of its results for your targeted keyword. If your website is not “healthy” from a technical point of view than the search engines will not be able to rank content they can’t find and read. In the same vein, if you completed your SEO technical audit and fixes, and the website is “healthy” and visible to the search engines, Google or Bing will still not be able to rank you as you did not “tell” them (optimised on page) what your site is about…again, Google or Bing cannot rank something they cannot find, see or understand. Hence, SEO optimisation on page is a second essential step in optimising your website for search. And it just happens that I offer ROI focused yet affordable SEO services in London…Get in Touch if you you are looking for more leads, more enquiries and more business!

Only couple of years back optimised URLs were a must do SEO ranking factor. This was mainly due to the underdeveloped algorithms that search engines such as Google were using to understand what your website was about. This vulnerability meant that old school SEO were easily being able to stuff keywords in their URL and “scored” points with Google or Bing in their SEO efforts. Many things changed over the past couple of years, including fantastic progress in the development of artificial intelligence, better known to SEO specialists as machine learning. Google launched their “Rank brain” which should give you some indication regarding the level of “intelligence” applied nowadays to search results. Needless to say, search engines such as Google apply sophisticated analysis to your website to gain a good understanding of what your website is about. Optimisation of URLs are still a best practice though they carry little to no SEO importance. The little value they carry are in the context of your overall theme of the website… if the website or page is about the keyword you have optimised your URL for (many factors contribute to this conclusion including backlinks, anchor text, internal linking and so on) then search engines will give you a bit of credit for optimising your URL simply because you have taken the time to improve the user experience and your website content is relevant to the URL description. However… over optimise (keyword stuffing) or optimise your URL for keywords that ad little value to the user or the theme of the page /website and Google will get “angry”…you guessed it, you will loose ranking. So…Get in Touch if you are looking for a professional SEO expert offering affordable SEO services in London!

As many other examples I gave, in ancient SEO times (that is just a few years back!) an SEO Agency, SEO specialist or SEO consultant was able to easily “play” the Google system. This is the case of keyword on-page optimisation…SEO London Agencies, SEO consultants and SEO Experts across London and UK would repeat obsessively the same keyword on the page (keyword stuffing), drop it everywhere they could find a bit of space (meta keywords, meta descriptions, meta titles, anchor text, URLs …you get the point). This looked un-natural, provided bad user experience, and many times over-optimised websites were ranked better than deserving websites with real and relevant content. These tactics are ancient as discussed already, in fact over-optimisation will only get you in trouble with Google. So what is the right keyword density on page to consider that the page is optimised for SEO? Well..nobody knows! However, many professional search engine optimisation consultants have ran tests over the years and they found that the best results, all things being equal are delivered at a keyword density of 0.6% up to 2% of your total keywords on the page. Finally, do not forget that optimising your page for search is more than optimising it for one keyword alone…your SEO consultant, SEO specialist or London SEO agency should always target a series of terms relevant to your main term and synonyms. For example …you can call me SEO consultant, SEO specialist, SEO expert, SEO professional, you get the idea…Google will understand that I am an SEO consultant. So if you are looking for affordable SEO services in London, including SEO training services, well…Get in Touch!

98% of the consultants offering SEO services in London will tell you that Google does not have the ability to read pictures, hence the only way you can tell Google what the image is about is by filling in the alt tab, name and description of the image -this is something that Google does read.

….and 98% of these providers of SEO services will be right! The other 2% of savvy SEO experts will also tell you that recent AI developments allowed Google to understand what an image was about even without alt texts being provided! This is part of the continuos improvement of Google’s machine learning algorithms which allows it to understand that a cat in a picture is part of the cat category that Google learned by reading millions of similar pictures.

How does this affect SEO? Well…99.99% of the SEO Agencies, SEO specialists and web designers will pick nice, modern, standard pictures to display it to their website visitors. A man speaking to his mobile will be used by various businesses to describe mobile phone services, business related services, telephone interpreting and so on…by now you will intuitively draw the conclusion that alt text, picture name and description must be used in conjunction with a picture relevant to your service, a picture that Google will recognise to be specific to the category of the services you offer.

The title tag represents the first line of the snippet returned by Google for your website when searchers type keywords relevant to your site. Let’s say you type “german translator services” in the search bar, Google will return a list of websites that it believes to be relevant to the query…the first line of that snippet will be your meta title. Long time ago meta titles used to be a ranking factor by search engines as Google and Bing. As always, old school SEO “experts”, London SEO agencies and SEO consultants started to abuse this opportunity by obsessively adding keywords in the title tag. On one side the title tags looked unnatural and provided bad user experience. On another side, creative London SEO agencies and consultants on SEO across London would stuff the title tag with keywords that were not relevant to the content of the website…users would click through to the website, just to find that the snippet (including title tag and meta description) deceived them with regards to the content of the website…bad user experience again. Nowadays, search engines place little to no value on the optimisation title tags per se. And yet, look on the first page of search results for a term and you will still see that most websites ranked on the first page in Google still have their keywords in the title tag and meta description. This is fine as long as it looks natural, provides an accurate description of the landing page and is not over-optimised.

I will now contradict myself a bit and tell you that Title tags, just as meta descriptions do in fact matter for SEO purposes!…but not in the way you may think. What do I mean? Well..ask your SEO expert or your provider of affordable SEO services in London to optimise your snippets for click through rate and not for keywords necessarily (unless it makes sense to have the keywords included as well). The purpose of the snippet is to drive action / click through your site. As your website is relevant to your snippet description people will stick around which in turn sends Google the message that your website is relevant to the search term and reward it with better rankings. In contrast, a poorly written meta title and description (stuffed with keywords) that does not drive people to click through will lead to search engines perceiving your website as less relevant than other websites with higher click through rates and “reward” your website with lower rankings. And all due to a old school SEO agency, SEO Expert or SEO consultant who do not understand why and how the snippet really functions…But there is hope: Get in Touch if you are looking for a professional SEO expert and SEO consultant in London who offers powerful yet affordable SEO services in London!

The answer is NO! What your London SEO Agency, SEO expert, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London should explain to you is that search engines do not rank websites, they rank pages. This is so important to understand that I will repeat it again: search engines as Google rank pages not websites. What this means in practice is that every page should have specific keywords and related keywords allocated…every page should target different keywords (and their variations within that keyword’s ecosystem). Every page should have a theme giving Google an understanding with regards to what the page is about….try to optimise for un-related keywords and you will “confuse” search engines. Moreover, another common issue I find as and SEO expert consulting for SEO in London and throughout UK is that many times clients want so badly to rank for a keyword that they will optimise multiple pages for the same keywords. This is a mistake (its name in SEO terms is “keyword cannibalisation”) as you will again confuse search engines as Google or Bing…which page is more important for that keyword, which one should they rank? Hence, make sure that your London SEO agency, SEO expert, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London avoids keyword cannibalisation. And…if you are looking for ROI focused  affordable SEO services in London from a professional SEO expert and SEO consultant in London..do Get in Touch!

A link anchor is the text used when you link a word, page, phrase etc to another place on the web or on your website. Again this used to be an SEO factor giving search engines a good understanding of what your website was about..if other websites linked to your German translation site with an anchor called “German translation services” then surely your website will be about German Translation and relevant services…or this was the thinking behind it. As in the case of other SEO factors we spoke about, any creative London SEO agency, SEO expert, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London started to abuse the system by over-optimising their anchor text profile, and prioritising the  process of optimisation over the content quality and relevance. As a result poor websites were ranking better than many more relevant websites. Anchor text in our days still matters and SEO studies shows that it still is one of the SEO factors considered by Google when ranking your website. However, over-optimisation or misleading website content vs. the link anchor theme is very likely to get you in trouble with search engines…you will lose rankings. Hence an anchor strategy is essential in ensuring that the right keywords, variations and branded terms are used in a balanced way, and linked to the right pages to prevent over-optimisation and enhance google’s understanding of your website and specific pages themes. H1s, H2s and H3s are, in simple terms the titles you are giving to paragraphs within your pages. Headings organise the content on page, allowing search engines to understand the structure of your page. Your London SEO agency, SEO expert or SEO specialist in ondon would use a H1 only once a page to tell search engines what the page is about (you can think about H1s as an extension of the page titles). You can use H2s as titles for your subsections. H3s and lower have been found to bring no SEO value to the page hence I will not focus on it at the moment. As an example you could establish a page with a page title of Romanian Translation Services, a H1 of “Language Services I Offer” and several H2s for “Business Translations”, “Conference Interpreting Services” and so on. How much SEO value is carried out by H1s and H2s ? Couple of years ago it used to matter quite a lot and it was a strong factor used by Google to understand what the page was about. Most SEO agencies in London, SEO experts and SEO specialists in London will still brag about is importance and how their affordable SEO services  in London include optimisation of your H1s and H2s. The reality is that just as meta keywords, H1s and H2s carry little SEO value nowadays…just as in the case of meta keywords headings ended up being abused by SEO “experts”, SEO specialists and SEO consultants. Their SEO importance is however indirect…good layout of the page means great user experience, longer time on page hence an indicator of relevancy that is rewarded with better rankings. In simple terms a landing page is a page where a visitor can entry or “land” on your website. It is generally one of your main pages, visible via the menu and quite likely optimised for SEO.

There are various schools of thought on this subject. An old school London SEO Agency, SEO expert or SEO specialist in London will tell you that yes, you should buy it. A savvier and “new” school London SEO agency, SEO expert or SEO specialist in London on another side will tell you that it may hurt your SEO as search engines will consider it over optimisation. Moreover, a London SEO agency will tell you the same thing but for a different reason: they are looking to impress potential clients with their knowledge and emphasise why he/she needs their professional affordable SEO services in London (…you , the client is “naive”, SEO is more complicated than this…). As far as I am concerned I agree fully with the old school SEOs…as long as your domain sounds natural, describes your service and is not stuffed with lots of keywords looking and sounding un-natural…go for it, it does make a difference from an SEO point of view. How do I know? Well, I am a co-founder of an interpreting agency specialising in Conference Interpreting. Our agency sells its services via 20 highly optimised websites which are called…you guessed it: albanianconferenceinterpreter.com, bulgarianconferenceinterpreter.com, romanianconferenceinerpreter.com and so on. And yo know what? All our websites are ranked on the first page in Google, most of them on the first or second organic position and deliver a significant amount of traffic and leads. The reality is that just as in the case of keyword density there is no clear cut policy on where your keywords should appear on page. There are however guidelines that are generally acknowledged as best practices within the SEO community thanks to numerous tests carried out by passionate and professional SEO experts around the world. You should include your keyword in the URL if it makes sense, in a natural way, without stuffing your URL with keywords and ensuring that the keyword reflects the content and theme of the page. You should include your keyword in your page title, H1 and one H2. You should include it in your title tag and meta description but keep in mind that this needs to be natural and your purpose should be to drive click through to your page not optimisation (title tags and meta descriptions carry little to no value from an SEO perspective per se). Your recommended keyword density should be around 0.6% up to 2% and you should use any similar, related  or variations of your keyword in a natural way. Your keyword should be in the first sentence or at least the first paragraph, the argument being that you will this way “tell” Google immediately what your page is about. You should include your keyword in any relevant alt text (images), image titles and descriptions if it makes sense and in a natural way. The higher on page the better, definitely above the fold as well…the idea is that the lower on page the more Google may get the impression you are trying to hide the content and “trick” their algorithms (this is an oversimplification by the way)….test, test and test again!…this point would also apply to content “hidden” under accordions.

Optimising your content on page is something that you could potentially do on your own with a bit of training. This being said, the reality is that a DYI approach would significantly slow down the SEO process. What you need to understand is that an SEO expert, SEO consultant or SEO specialist in London continuously tests, refines and tests again the performance of your website within an ecosystem of over 200 SEO factors, of which on-page optimisation is only a small part within this ecosystem. In reality, the process would be hindered rather than helped and an SEO expert, SEO consultant or SEO specialist will need to have full control over an SEO process marked by continuos testing , refining and testing again. Hence, my unbiased and honest answer is: let the SEO guy do his job, it really is very complex if done right! And if you need ROI focused and affordable SEO services in London…Get in Touch!

A link is put in place by writers as a reference to another document or resource on the web. It is generally highlighted in a different colour making it distinguishable from the rest of the text. Click on that text/link and you will be immediately “teleported” to the resource you have linked to. Think about a link as a bridge between two resources. Need affordable SEO services in London from a professional SEO expert?…Get in Touch!

An internal link is used to link different resources on your website. Internal linking is actually quite important from and SEO perspective as search engines generally “travel” around your website by crawling the links between the different pages of your site (think about a link as a bus taking search engine crawlers from one resource to another). A good internal linking architecture will allow search engines as Google or Bing to crawl more pages, discover more relevant content and get more information about the theme of your website…it really helps SEO. External links are links that you link to outside your website. For example you may quote an article in a magazine and link to that article, giving readers the opportunity to read the article as well. It is thought that linking externally does carry some SEO value though not a lot if you link to resources relevant to your page and content, basically if you offer more value to the user. Furthermore, by linking externally to a relevant resource you send another signal to search engines on the theme of your page. I trust it makes sense, and if you are looking for professional and affordable SEO services in London from an innovative SEO expert …Get in Touch!

Ok, so we learned that internal links and external links are links that YOU place to other resources. By contrast, backlinks occur when someone else links to your site. As an example, an article about your company is being published in an online magazine and a link is placed within the article taking readers to your website…you just earned a backlink. Or, you register your company in a directory of services, fill in the section about your site and add the address of your website. Now when people view your profile on the directory they can click the link and are instantly sent to your website…this is another backlink, and so on. Just as in the case of internal and external links, backlinks are an important SEO factor. In fact backlinks are a more important factor than internal links…the more quality, relevant backlinks you have the better your chances are to rank within Google. The idea behind this is simple…Google values internal links less as you have control over it, and values backlinks more because in theory you do not have control over these links (if someone else links to your site than this is a vote of confidence, so surely your page is relevant and important…it must deserve a better ranking…). The reality is far more complex, but for the time being I hope you understand the idea. And of course, if you are looking for an SEO expert, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London do Get in Touch…I offer ROI focused yet affordable SEO services in London!

Ok…so your SEO expert, SEO specialist or SEO consultant in London has fixed your technical SEO issues, conducted the keyword research and optimised your website on page. Surely Google should now acknowledge my great content and rank my website…Not quite actually…Remember what I explained to you in the internal vs. external links debate? Let me briefly remind you: when it arrives to your website Google’s crawlers discover your pages and content by following the internal links between the pages. I have made the analogy of the link as a bus taking the crawlers from one page to another…the more buses the more places/pages Google will find. Similarly, you can apply this analogy  to the backlinks as well…the more buses/backlinks you have pointing to your website the easier Google crawlers find and arrive to your website. And because Google thinks about backlinks to your site as votes of confidence from other websites, the more votes you have the more chances to rank better. Please keep in mind that this is an extreme oversimplification as I will further explain in the following section. For the time being what you need to keep in mind is that the more good quality and relevant backlinks (from websites within your specialist “ecosystem”) the more chances you will have to win the SEO race. So building backlinks is the process of proactively working towards gaining more and more votes of confidence/backlinks from other websites wether directories, social, magazines and so on. As always…if you need a professional SEO expert and affordable SEO services in London do Get in Touch!

Domain authority is a metric used within the SEO community to measure the value that Google assigns to a website based on known SEO factors. As an example, a website with lots of good quality and relevant backlinks would have a higher domain authority than a website with no backlinks at all or with low quality links. By contrast, page authority refers to a specific page rather than the whole domain. So you could have a high authority domain having a mixture of high and lower authority individual pages (based for example on the number of relevant and quality backlinks pointing out to a specific page). Different 3rd party providers calculate the website authority in different ways, however the most used tool is Moz’s, I have been using it throughout my SEO consulting career and would not change it for anything else. In ancient SEO times the more links you had the better you were ranked by Google, whose search algorithms were quite basic if compared with today’s machine learning algorithms. Needless to say that a link building consultant, SEO expert or SEO consultants could easily abuse this factor as well: millions of websites appeared overnight with one purpose and one purpose alone: to serve as link farms for clients paying to increase the number of backlinks to their websites, with no regard to the user experience. Too many creative approaches to be named here were used to increase the number of the backlinks and it really worked for a while. The result was that websites were ranked based on SEO creativity rather than value provided to the user and the user experience suffered. These practices were put to a halt quite abruptly by Google with the launch of several algorithms that have tackled both on page over-optimisation and the madness created by the entire link building industry at the time. And the result at the time was devastating: millions and millions of websites lost their ranking overnight, never recovering it again. Entire businesses providing link building “black hat” solutions disappeared over night and so on. The winner here was, you guessed it…the user, who now got the right suggestions to his queries faster, better and more accurate then ever before. And of course, the companies that really invested the time to do SEO the right way (provide value to the users) were equally winners having seen their efforts rewarded with higher ranking, more traffic and more leads.

So, to answer to the question regarding quantity over quality I will undoubtably say : Quality. But what do I mean by quality? Well, if the backlink comes from a high authority website than that is quality. If that website operates within your industry arena than that is even better quality. If the same high authority website offers the same services as you do then that is an even better quality and so on. The idea is that the more difficult is to get that link the more that link is valued (a genuine vote of confidence is far better than one you can control…). It is often being rightly said that a good quality backlink from a high authority relevant website can compensate or beat 10000 lower quality links…so definitely quality over quantity.

But even better…let’s conclude we want quantity and quality at the same time…the more quality backlinks you have the better!

Of course….Do Get in Touch if you require affordable SEO services in London from a professional SEO Expert.

When a London SEO Agency, SEO Expert, SEO consultant or SEO specialist in London pitches for the contract you will hear quite a few jargon terms thrown around in an attempt to confer expertise to their professional SEO services. One of the terms you may hear is “backlink strategy”. You should really pay attention to their approach as backlinks are, as I explained already, a top five ranking factor. Most London SEO agencies, SEO Experts and SEO consultants in London will focus on quantity, but as I have shown already they should really focus on quality first and quantity after…after all it is true that one good link can help more than 10000 bad links! So what should you expect to hear from your London SEO agency, SEO expert or SEO specialist in London? Well…they should focus on obtaining links from high authority websites as much as possible within the “industry ecosystem”. If you are a translation agency then you should get as many links from translation related publications, websites etc. High authority trusted websites, even though unrelated to the industry can help too but I would suggest to focus on relevant links (in the long run Google and Bing will place more and more value on relevancy of links). Your SEO agency in London, SEO expert or SEO specialist should also explain you their follow/no follow approach to link building. Of course, the more follow links the better the opportunities for your website to be discovered by search engine crawlers and the better the value assigned to the “link vote”. No-follow links are good too, if on relevant websites, driving traffic to your website and helping to improve time on site and lower bounce rates (another signal to Google that your website is relevant). Too many no-follow links and this may look suspicious to search engines…you should therefore focus on as many follow links as possible with a good quality high traffic no-follow links. The more domains link to your site the better …10 backlinks from 10 different domains will always be better than 10 links from two domains (all other things being equal). Links within text are better, the higher on the page the better. Diversity of backlinks is important too, your London SEO agency or your SEO expert should focus on getting links from a variety of sources i.e. social media, relevant directories, publications, relevant blogs and so on. Of course there are so many other factors to consider (entire SEO books are written on link building strategies) but overall the points above should act as a guideline to asses the professionalism of the London SEO Company or SEO consultant pitching for your business…Get in Touch if you seek a professional SEO expert and  affordable SEO services in London.

SEO experts and Webmasters have the possibility to “follow” or “no-follow” links on their websites. A follow link is a command that “tells” search engines something like : “Please take this bus to the resource I link to, I trust the resource and I vote for it!”. A no-follow link is a link that tells search engines: “Ok, this is a link to this resource as I feel that it is relevant to the user but I am closing this bus stop hence do not travel to the resource”. The distinction between follow and no-follow links is very important. Follow links allow search engine crawlers to “follow” the link and discover the resource linked to. For example, if another website links to your website via a follow link then Google will both discover your website faster and assign it value due to the confidence vote received from the website linking to you. No-follow links by contrast mean that the website linking to your website instructs search engines as Google or Bing not to crawl that link, hence Google and Bing will not be able to “follow” and discover your website. What this means in effect is that you should really focus on obtaining as many follow links vs. no-follow, which will allow search engines to find your website more often and allocate it authority based on the “confidence vote” from the source website. Similarly, the % of no follow links from the total backlinks to your site should be kept low…the higher the percentage the more search engines may question the relevance of your site. This is not to say that you should not have any no-follow links, on the contrary a mixture of follow and no-follow links will look more natural, the key is to ensure that the no-follow links are relevant to your site and drive traffic to it. In simple terms, the no-follow links should be used to drive traffic to your website, and because they are placed on relevant websites the assumption is that visitors will increase time on site and lower your bounce rates, hence sending a message to search engines that your site is relevant and should be rewarded with higher rankings. As always, if you require more information on affordable SEO services in London and how a professional SEO expert can help your business…Get in Touch!

As an freelance SEO specialist, SEO Expert and SEO consultant in London I often work with various London SEO agencies and PR agencies in London and throughout UK. I have recently had a case where one leading PR agency redeveloped their website, re-launched it and quickly lost rankings. They contacted the developer who conducted a “research” concluding that some “toxic links” were pointing out to the website and as a result Google penalised the site. He went further and explained that someone, potentially a competitor was performing negative SEO on their website and he “forecasted” further loss in rankings if the situation continued. Obviously, this top PR agency got concerned about this negative SEO business and asked me to have a look at their website. I immediately found the issue (human error at development stage) and explained that negative SEO is highly unlikely to have an impact on rankings and website performance, even though as a best practice SEO consultants still perform regular toxic links analysis and disavow any suspicious links. Ignore any London SEO Agency, SEO consultant, SEO expert or SEO specialist in London who will tell you otherwise …Google is far “smarter” than you think and it’s recent algorithms updates mean that they will simply disregard any toxic links, that is they will not confer it any value or authority (they will not penalise you for it either!). The only reason why toxic links are disavowed as a best practice is not as intuitive as most London SEO agencies, SEO experts and SEO consultants believe….if negative links are placed on unrelated websites, misleading visitors on the content of your website than these visitors will visit your website, realise they have been “tricked”(website not relevant) and leave your site. Search engines may assume that as you have lots of visitors on your page, low time on site and high bounce rate then your site is not relevant…Then again, the site is not relevant to what?…most likely as the traffic came from unrelated sites, Google is smart enough to analyse that pages/websites and conclude that your site is not relevant for that industry and keywords…which is perfectly fine. How would this look in practice?….you are a translation website and someone is performing negative SEO , places lots of links pointing to your website on online betting websites…Google will assume you are not relevant to betting related queries…great! Of course, as I always say this is an extreme oversimplification, SEO is far more complex than that, I assure you. If you would like to learn more about affordable SEO services in London from a professional SEO expert…Get in Touch!

NO, no, no! Throughout my career as SEO consultant, SEO expert and SEO specialist in London I have seen far too many horror stories with business owners who have left themselves talked into SEO practices that had catastrophic impact on their website performance. Let me make it very simple for you: SEO is earned not bought, it requires a clear backlink strategy, lots of focus and hard work. There really is no easy way to get your website ranked, and in the few cases when you manage to “trick”Google, it will quickly figure it out, you will lose your rankings and very often you will never or very hard rank your website again. Why? Please do read my previous posts above to understand  why you need a backlink strategy, why you need to plan and work hard to build the right type of links…if your SEO company in London or your SEO expert recommends you to buy links with no strategy in place…ditch them, you really don’t want them working for you! And of course, you can always enquire about affordable SEO services in London from a professional SEO expert!

As I explained in the keyword research and on-page SEO sections a professional SEO consultant, SEO expert or SEO specialist will allocate specific keywords and variations to specific pages and optimise / give a theme to each page in line with the keywords targeted. An experienced SEO professional will also avoid keyword cannibalisation, hence will not target the same keyword on multiple pages. The same strategy will also apply to link building, links should be built to all your landing pages and a strategy in place to support each page and its “theme” by building relevant links internally, externally and backlinks, individual anchoring strategies in place and so on. So the answer to the question is: your London SEO company or SEO expert should build links to all pages, relevant to the theme of the page…in effect, you are trying to rank each of these pages for the keywords you have chosen. And…Get in Touch if you are looking for a professional SEO expert and affordable SEO services in London!
